At Newcastle Orthodontics, we believe your braces journey should be as smooth, precise, and comfortable as possible. That’s why Dr. Morgan Wishney proudly uses Indirect Bonding, an advanced technique that brings modern precision and a more comfortable experience to orthodontic treatment with braces.
How does Indirect Bonding work?
- A detailed digital model of your teeth is created.
- Dr. Wishney uses computer software to carefully plan the ideal position for each bracket before your actual appointment.
- These brackets are then set into a custom-made tray that mirrors this digital plan.
- Our skilled Oral Health Therapists (OHTs) use this tray to transfer the brackets onto your teeth in one efficient appointment.
This team-based process ensures that your braces are placed exactly where they need to be according to Dr. Wishney’s expert planning while making your appointment quicker and more comfortable.
A More Comfortable Patient Experience
Traditional bonding can involve a lengthy appointment, with your mouth open while each bracket is placed individually. Indirect Bonding simplifies this process significantly. With the help of our OHTs, all the brackets for your braces are placed quickly and accurately one tray at a time, rather than one bracket at a time. That means:
- Shorter time in the chair
- Less discomfort during the appointment
- A smoother, more relaxed start to treatment
Why Dr. Wishney Chooses Indirect Bonding
As a specialist in orthodontics, Dr. Morgan Wishney is committed to combining the latest technology with expert clinical care. By planning your braces digitally and working closely with our trained Oral Health Therapists, he’s able to deliver results that are not only more precise, but also more comfortable and efficient.
